Regarding McAfee and GameDay: ESPN decided that rather than be part of the culture of college football, they'd be happy to be bro culture talking about college football. It sucks, but it's the choice they made. Fox is eating their lunch.

They seem to have mistaken their own show as the thing people tune into watch. Personally, I have little interest in pregame shows unless they're breaking down games, and I have zero interest in any of the pregame performers that they drag out for big games. The game is the event.

I flipped on the fox show I think the week they went to Colorado and it was a jizz fest and some rapper got them all riled up. None of that peaks my interest whatsoever.

McAfee is fine and small chunks and at times brings some life to the show that has boring people on it. But he gets old fast and you can’t just yell all the time and expect people to take you remotely seriously.
