Yep, and two of the other passes were the right read. Just a little too hyped up and threw them just a bit high. The INT was a high pass over the middle in the endzone, but overall Purdy played well, had one drop that should have been caught, but he looked like he belonged in the league, if nothing else.
He has a future, if nothing more than a backup, but you can have a nice profitable career as a backup.
Also, he wasn’t coached by Kurt and Brain.49ers were getting smoked with not much time left

And a couple right off recievers' hands. 4 for 9 isn't a great description of his effort.

Back-up QB in the NFL might be the best job in sports really. You're paid well but don't take a beating like a starter does. Nobody is calling into talk radio to complain about how much you suck either. Sign me up for that.Honestly back up QB in the nfl would be the ideal job. Make good money. Don’t take the beatings that a starter does.
I'm sure he was amped up so a few throws were high but this will help the next time he gets to play - he'll come in with a little more control over his emotions. And a couple right off recievers' hands. 4 for 9 isn't a great description of his effort.
Learn a lot about offensive schemes and how to attack a defense - great entry point into coaching. Kubiak and Garrett come to mind.Honestly back up QB in the nfl would be the ideal job. Make good money. Don’t take the beatings that a starter does.
Not sure why we don't see backup QB's more often in the NFL. Seems like typically the startes play the whole game irriegardless.
Back up QB or starting pitcher. Your points for backup QB but starting pitchers play once a week while traveling all over the US and can golf at any course they want. Chase Daniel and John Smultz have lived my 2 dream careers.Back-up QB in the NFL might be the best job in sports really. You're paid well but don't take a beating like a starter does.
