It will be a wake up call to just how good Purdy was when Dekkers has a few bumpy games early.
Games? Purdy was under fire 5 quarters into this season and he already had 3 seasons to show how good he was.

If Dekkers starts 3 for 6 and we only have 3 points after the first quarter of our first game people will be calling for his replacement.

Lol Brock can be playing well and Dekkers could also play well next year. It's not really necessary to bring him into our stupid squabbles.

Brock is like the Naz of ISU football. All about the name on the front of the jersey. Just a second to none leader.

Very similar feel to me between this group of football players and the 14-15 basketball team. Somewhat disappointing, but thats only because they set the bar so damn high. After they are gone, going to look back and realize how good we had it, and wish we had em back. Very personable group and great representatives of the university.

Yes, Purdy, Rose, Hall, Kolar, Vance, Allen, Eisworth, Johnson, Newell and these guys are going to be missed. It’s going to be really strange when they are gone like when Georges, Naz, Monte and Matt were all gone.

It will be, but one thing about this coaching staff and football in general is we've already seen a LOT of the guys on the field already who will be replacing them. Will they be as good? Probably not, but they are getting it done already.

It had been mentioned on here that during the rush one of the students had gotten out of hand with an opposing player.
Does anyone have the video. I couldn’t find it anymore but from what I saw the student I assume we were talking about just tried to get through the line.

I don't disagree with anything you said. The whole average arm or whatever nonsense that gets spewed is just dumb though. He has elite accuracy and that can't be denied and it's not like he's throwing simple bubble screens that our past QBs couldn't even place right
"Completed a ton of 5-yard passes to running backs out of the flat and didn’t get intercepted — eat your heart out, Jimmy Garoppolo. But any time Purdy threw the ball to the sideline or down the field, the ball fluttered and died. He has one of the weakest arms I’ve ever seen on the 49ers practice field — it’s Scott-Tolzien-esque."

Sorry couldn't help myself.
