It will say OR

Which is a big mistake. If you list Lanning as starter, I think you get more butts in the seats. I could see people tailgating who may not go in if its Sam, but would if it's Joel due to not seeing him before and being local.

The only prep work TX has to do for Sam is practice catching the ball.........Sam will throw it right to them.

I disagree. Texas DBs are good enough at coverage that they'll stay right with our WRs. If that's the case, there's little chance that the ball will be anywhere near them.

I'd bet my *** Paul says that they will compete this week and decide who starts during the week.

What do you think it is going to say????

Sam
Sam or Joel
Joel

I say Paul doesn't have the balls to flat out give it to Lanning, So there is going to be an "OR" in there.

I can't wait to see the depth chart!!!

I don't get this notion that Paul Rhoads doesn't have the "balls" to change quarterbacks. He's made quarterback changes almost every season he's been the coach here. If he does go with Richardson its because he truly believes he is better, not because he's simply too stubborn to make the change. When Jantz and Barnett were here, it seemed like he started a different guy every game. Now some of you claim he is too stubborn, or has too big an ego to make a change?

i do feel for sam. playing as a freshmen and starting a lot since then and to play like crap the last year and then to have fans want the back up. sorry sam, but it is time to pass the torch.

I'm the same way. I genuinely feel bad for Sam. I really don't think hit's his fault that he's come to this at this stage of his career. He certainly showed early on that he had a lot of talent and ability.

Rhoads and company have proven time and time again that they don't have the ability to develop players, especially QBs. And in most cases, it seems they are putting something in their heads to make them regress. Sam really shouldn't be going out like this. I hope that Rhoads apologizes to him after the season.

Keep in mind Sam has had career games vs Texas the last couple years...that's what will be said this week. Reality is that it's a different year. I do feel for Sam but he can't make a simple 8 yd pass right now..not good.

If I'm coach. I either put it as an or, or I list Sam as the starter. Make Texas plan for both, will help lanning to have a defense that isn't totally prepped on him since it doesn't seem we use as much of the playbook with him.

My suggestion, don't look at the depth chart, wait until Saturday. I would assume coach things happening with the depth chart.

Like TX would waste time prepping for a QB with a single digit rating in his last outing?
