Doubtful this year. Stick could be a possibility but I am not sure he would be offered. Greyshirt maybe? Just not that many to choose from this year. Besides, we have 4-5 on the roster right now.
Sam Richardson could be gone. The dude is ticked off. He was pretty ticked off in his interview yesterday, did anyone see it? I've heard from some people who know him that he is beyond frustrated right now with this whole QB debacle. Lost confidence, feels like he could do more and wants to help.
If Messingham is fired which I hope is he, I think theres a slight chance Richardson transfers out. Messingham recruited him I'm pretty sure.

Don't blame him one bit. He is injured. So what do they do? Run him on zone read plays so he can keep getting hit. Meanwhile his replacement completely sucks in passing but gets the PT and does not have to run the zone read plays because he sucks at that too.
If SR transfers I doubt it has to do with Messingham losing his job as OC. It will be because of the whole QB situation with the 2 QB's. If Rohach was effective then it would not be a big deal. But the offense sucks even worse. And Rhoads' comments that he thought the 2 QB system was working because we scored a single TD against Oklahoma on one series troubles me. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while.

Man, from what I've seen that should be a priority. If not, sure hope next OC was an ex-Div I QB like Gundy.
Lee-Campbell was ready to commit for some time but after witnessing the horrific O he has apparently backed off ISU. Sounds like CU is now in the driver's seat with him.

How many do you want on your team? If poster is right about mess, who is it then? Believe it when I see it, I just hope we do not lose current players because of ****** coaching on offense.
I don't get why people keep bringing this up. The team is only allowed to have a certain number of coaches. The only way to have someone who works purely with the QBs and isn't the coordinator would be if a different position coach was the OC or if you combined two position coaches (TEs with the WRs or something like that).
I'm sick of QB competitions at ISU. All that says to me is that our recruiting and developing QBs sucks. No way should a Freshman be pushing a Junior QB with starting experience, unless he's the next Manning Brother. At ISU, a QB competition means two ****** QBs who the coaches are trying to determine the lesser of two evils with.
Don't get me wrong with this post though. I don't blame the players themselves one bit. There is a reason the best performance from all of our QBs is usually their first start. Then it's all downhill from there.
I really think if we get the right guy in here at OC, our current QBs will be more than serviceable.

What a complete and utter disaster by guys that obviously have no clue how to handle the situation and that includes Rhoads. If SR is taking his thoughts to the media, he obviously hasnt been able to get through to the coaches in practice. Anyone have audio for what Richardson said Saturday after the game? Damn I fee for the kid.
