Rain in Ames today? (9/3)

I live in Marion and as of 1:15 we are closing in on 1.75 inches last night and today. How much did Ames get?

Going off of this link it looks like under 0.5 inches over the past 72 hours, but it does show higher amounts on either side of Ames. Not sure how accurate the map actually is but it is usually close. With as dry as it has been I bet the ground holds the moisture well.

There are RVs pulling into the haunted forest and no issues. I think we got .2”-.3” here in Ames last night.

Looking at web cams it doesn't look like much rain in Ames yet.

I tried push some small fence posts in the ground today with my feet and got them about 3" down. Had to work at it to get in in the ground any deeper than that.
