Random tech deals

It's only 720p and 60hz so it's not going to be that great of picture but it certainly is a deal if you just need a cheap TV and don't care about that stuff.

Exactly. I got one. Just set it up. It's a better pic than I expected. $69 is a deal. Like I said this is perfect for a dorm.

I'll also add you can get 4k 50" TVs for under $200. TVs are continuing to be stupid cheap. Just got a 65" QLED Samsung that was 50% cheaper than a 1080p 55" Vizio I bought 6 or 7 years ago.

Remember my dad bringing home our first flat screen in the mid 2000s. 46" Sony that was like $4k.

it's ******* crazy how cheap they've gotten. the first flat screen i ever got was a 37 inch Sony in like 2006 and it was like $2000 lol. and it still weighed a ******* ton

That mount would probably be fine for a small cheap tv but no way I would trust it for anything else. It’s literally just nails in drywall like a picture hanger.
Holds my 65 and 55" TVs just fine. The 65" weighs 37lbs, not sure on the 55. You could put them in studs to if concerned, there's screws involved.

Ah you like to live dangerously. lol

It will probably be ok but personally I need something a bit stronger that has more adjustability.

Meh, the rooms those TVs are in never need adjusted/swiveled. It's also low profile, they're basically glued to the wall so it looks nice.

that is literally a saying for any product ever made. so sure.

zero issues with these and it's been years. (shrug)

Sure, but regardless of what the mount manufacturer claims, at the end of the day you're putting a lot of faith in gypsum and paper if there's no stud involved
