I think you are right to be concerned about him as a person and colleague. If you can put aside the disappointment, hurt and frustration, could you check with other co-workers to see whether they've also noticed differences? Something doesn't quite add up, and it might help you feel "better" to find out your experience wasn't unique. Perhaps a supervisor or manager could visit with him.

All this week I've been unable to get any kind of good sleep over this. This morning I woke up at 4:30 when I can sleep till 6 and couldn't go back to sleep because today was the first day since our text exchange that we would be at work at the same time. I left a note where he would see it when I got to work.

Finally this morning he actually said hi, and then he came back and we talked things out. I told my other friend about it and he said why did you apologize when you did nothing wrong?

I said I'm like the Mark Wahlberg character in The Big Hit. In that movie Mark played a guy couldn't stand the thought of someone not liking him. I care more about what others think of me than I care about myself.

I seriously don't see how people could or want to be associated with me. I have such a self hatred of myself. I'm really nothing special.

Oh, gosh, Rulzzz, I so hear you! Speaking just for myself, I’m really trying to start thinking better of myself. Sometimes I wonder if it’s because I am the oldest of four kids and always kind of thought if myself as the one who needed to do everything right and make sure others did, too, at least as far as my siblings were concerned. It didn’t get much better as I grew up, and probably I took that to an extreme, which wouldn’t endear me to most people.
I don’t personally know you. Yet I’m so glad to “know” you here.

So here I am sitting on a call for a project I found out about Wednesday. There are idiots on this call that apparently never even tried to log onto this client and now they can't.
The first thing I did when I first found out about this was make sure I could get connected.

The client is on this call, do these people realize how stupid this makes us look as a collective?

I take pills and I still can’t drink milk. The more solid it is, the less issues. Like solid cheese and ice cream I can pill up and survive. Milk or cool whip, sour cream are like acid to me.
Lots of lactose sugar in the milk. Cheese culturing removes some of the lactose, as the culture uses it as food.
Interesting that ice cream works for you. I wonder if the added sugar makes it easier some way.

Not sure, but home made ice cream is way worse than store bought like blue bunny.

Melted cheese like on pizza or queso is worse than regular cheese also.

Daughter was at the game. Not sure where her friend stays. The campus wasn’t in the nicest place when I was there a few years ago.
