So something unfortunate with the latest update CF did. Tonight was the first time since the update with 2 gameday threads on one day. In the past the amount of time between creating threads was small enough I could do 2 with the 12:00 time stamp.

After this new update the time between creating threads is now 3 minutes. Good thing I did the football one first.

I'm excited for both haha.

It was just a weird feeling because up until a few years ago having a friend or classmate get pregnant/get someone pregnant was something you talked about in hushed somber tones, not something you celebrated

It is weird when it goes from oh **** to oh that's great. And for us, we had a lot of classmates have kids way before we were ready so even though they were excited I still inwardly thought oh **** :D

Not exactly sure.

I had classmates who were grandparents about 4-5 years after my wife and I had our first.

I was a touch bug-eyed the time I figured out a former coworker was a grandmother at the age of 38. Totally plausible.

One of my mom's favorite mugs was one her sister got for her for her birthday that said "I'd rather be 40 than pregnant".

I might have the winner here. Had a classmate that was born when his mom was like 14. He then proceeds to knock up a girl when he was 18.

I have never understood getting a girl pregnant at that age. Yes, buying condoms can be awkward, but its so much better than sleepless night and changing diapers. Pulling out is also extremely easy for those that are too lazy/cool to wear protection.

My mom was 40 when I was born and my grandma was 45/46 when my youngest uncle was born. My oldest cousin is older than my youngest uncle. I told the wife that age 35 I was done having kids. Don’t want them to check me out of the nursing home for HS graduation.

i know people who had kids at 40 because they got married later, that’s understandable, but we already had two by 35 so the third had a cutoff time to happen.

50th is 2023...didn't want to go to the 40th but Lew talked me into it. I told him I'm not going to the 50th unless they do a cruise or something. At the last one we had lame food that ran out way too early, expensive cash bars, and a **** ton of lushes sitting around trying to impress each other. BORING.
I've only been to one reunion. It was the same weekend as the ISU vs UCONN game so I did both. I wouldn't have gone out for just the reunion.

I flipped to January and, just to torment me, it's a picture of a snow covered bicycle.
Just saw it has been changed. I am so observant these days. Pretty snow-bike though.

Suppose I should get out of pajamas and go walkabout before da game. Thought I was tonight and just saw it is at 3:00. That's like late morning for me this winter.
