Can't find the one all metal one I found in the road that had been run over a number of times but was still working. And the old cloth one with the burgundy color was my grandfather's. Still has his name scratched into the case. Likely from his railroad depot agent working days (packages and all for shipping).

I have your top middle and one like bottom right but not maroon, also from around the 1930ish great grandads.

Not exactly sure.
I must be the only one who does work for a charity and I end up spending 10-20 bucks (i will pretty much never turn in a reimbursement) personally who will not ask to be reimbursed.

I've said for years that it would be easier if I just wrote a check for $500 and called it good. It would save me a lot of time and probably some money as well

I was treasurer of the local ambulance service, and I would get a reimbursement for a dollar sympathy card that was sent for something.

Not exactly sure.
Owning a business is no guarantee of competence, let alone excellence.
I put more faith in their management skills than accounting skills. I believe I was told they received part of the business since the owner is older and is parsing it out a little hoping he can sell it to the employees later. This individual also had a boarded up window on their house, but then went out and bought a lexus to celebrate their "making it".

Just had some guy show up wanting to sell me solar for zero out of pocket, I told him I am planning on moving soon so I'm not spending money like that, then he says that's great but doesn't stop talking. Then I say I am on a work call and he says that's good and doesn't stop talking so I yell, I am on a call, and shut the door in his face.

My wife was diagnosed with pneumonia last week. They put her on antibiotics but it hasn't really made a difference. She has been coughing bad enough that it kept both of us awake. I ended up sleeping on the couch because I couldn't sleep. I'm not much better and coughing up a bunch of phlegm. The amount of sickness going through our house this season has been ridiculous. My poor wife is exhausted due to poor sleep, work, school, and parenting.

Are we counting rules as well? I still have my 6' rule with feet and inches on one side and feet, tenths and hundredths of a foot on the other.

RTT has always been self policing and a politics free zone. If my reminder to anyone of this fact is hurting anyone's feelings, I'm sorry.

Not trying to be authoritarian as has been suggested. Self policing suggests we help remind each other.

I stink like Off insect spray. :nausea:

Odd for November but it's still tick season and I was walkabout for a couple of hours in a sort of red cedar and grass savanna. Figured spraying up first was a good idea. Glad I worn heavy jeans and not my insect repellant nylon pants. The prickly ash would have shredded my light weight Columbia pants. Should have brought along a machete!

Mission accomplish though, did spy the bird I wanted to. Was following GPS to Mississippi West Regional Park and the route it gave me to return home worked like a charm but I had NO idea where I was, never been on any of those roads before. I was starting to think, "Did I enter in my correct home address?"
