Sounds of fall.

Sounds like a squadron of MiG 21's are buzzing the hood. Pretty sure even with ear protection these yard minions will end up with hearing loss. Do they not care or are they just sort of stupid about it?

What are you proposing they do if hearing protection is inadequate? A lot of people have no choice but to take less than desirable jobs.

My neighbor has had people working at her house for I would say the last 3 months. 2-3 people 5-6 days a week. She goes to work and they are free to go in and out of the house as they have been doing work both inside and outside.
I can't possibly think what is being done that is taking so long.
Pretty sure her husband had remodeled a majority of the interior (I guess he passed away). I've wanted to sneak around and see what has been done in the back. I know the interior trim was painted a few weeks ago because the windows were taped. A window was replaced earlier this week. This has got to be costing a fortune

The addition of the sunroom, multilevel deck, gazebo & balcony took 15 months from start to finish...and they are still fixing problems. They didn't think about humidity in the sunroom (or lack thereof) and the wood floors & trim dried out badly. So they had to run a water line from the kitchen sink to the unit underneath the floor of the sunroom. We have a hole in the wall in our dining room (gave them access to connect pipes) that will be patched "eventually".

So yeah, a 3 month remodeling job seems short to me. :D

Maybe it’s a local brothel or porn house?

I went to the grocery store, it seems they are already moving the Halloween candy aside for I just assume Christmas stuff.

Saw the same thing at Menards yesterday. Thought I was in a time warp for a little bit as all I wanted was a turkey leg. Strangest feeling ever.

Same at Walmart.

Believe me. Our GM manager would work overnight on October 31st, pull all Halloween candy into $2/$3/$4 carts, push those to the front, and up went the Christmas candy.

Dropped the trailer off at a new job yesterday. All the lumber and supplies are there, except nails, you know, the thing that holds everything together.
