Getting new countertops tomorrow, so we are clearing them off. Wife then Cleans and disinfects them (they aren’t dirty because she does this 3-4 times a day). I ask if she’s cleaning and disinfecting counters that are going to be torn out and tossed in the morning. She says yes. I know it’s not worth asking why.
I can relate. It's a compulsion. She wouldn't be able to sleep at night if she didn't...

I've been replacing some light fixtures. Pretty sure I've broken some sort of record for variations of wtf on this kitchen light. Thought I would have it done before leaving for the game on Saturday, now I'm hoping it will be done today

So for security reasons we are moving all client access to a jump server environment in order to add another layer of whatever. So we have to log into the company VPN and then launch the jump server.
Yesterday someone couldn't access the jump server while everyone else could. It turns out they hadn't even gotten into the company VPN. It really make me wonder how these people get anything done when they don't seem to have much in the way of technical understanding.

Glad we got that side sheeted yesterday. Today we sheeted half the garage which is behind the house, no wind. And that's only a 4/12, not that high. Tomorrow is going to suck. 45mph wind gusts and 20 degrees. We got basement framing to do though.
Many moons ago I was working on a construction job in December and it was a really windy day. A couple of other laborers set up a sheet of plywood as a wind block (real dumb move)
I was walking across the deck and heard something behind me, it was the sheet of plywood blowing across the deck right at me, it slammed into me and sent me flying just as I was turning to run. Fortunately I was actually wearing a hard hat that day.

Not exactly sure.
Why are women so concerned what their friends like? Wife had a backsplash picked out, I asked (husband way of suggesting something) about an idea and was told she didn't want it. Now, since a friend said she would like a different look (closer to what I asked about) she is leaning that way. The problem is it isn't what other friends said, I don't understand why she cares so much what someone who will see it for a couple hours a year thinks if she likes it.
