The other good news is that I am at least at the gym enough so that they know who I am.

For this reason, I can understand upgrading to a DSLR. Just as long as the person go around strutting like they're a photographer now. It pisses me off how many people do that once they get a camera.OK DSLR auto-mode snobs, bring it....effers.
I have a DSLR and auto-mode that friggin thing like a BOSS!
So when the oldest was on the way we decided to get a new camera, were trying to decide between a DSLR or a good P&S. I thought that maybe we might someday get into playing with a DSLR's full capability, but ultimately decided to get a P&S.
Days after we got it, I saw an offer for a base level Sony Alpha thru Sony's credit card. Get an Alpha for $218, and if you spent $500 on the card in the first 3 months, got a $100 credit. Spend $1000 on the card in the first 6 months, get another $100 credit. We use our cards for nearly everything, pay it off every month. So I called the wife and asked if she minded if I bought another camera. After her nearly coming unglued, I explained the deal (essentially, in our situation, a DLSR camera for $18 with no other cost) and we did it. In 2 months, I had both $100 credits and cancelled the card.
We use it in auto mode, but we also don't claim to be professional photographers. It does take better pictures in auto mode than the P&S. We tend to use it around the house, but on vacations, we take the P&S.
So suck it, haters.
It's actually quite amazing what can be written off as a work expense. My dad has his own business, office is out of the home. The family cat and dog, cat and dog food and animal medical expenses? All written off because the cat and dog protect the office from mice and other critters that live in the cornfield next to the house. When you're a contract killer, taxes are a *****. I'd suggest itemizing everything next time. That shovel? Work expense. Bags of quick-crete? Work expense. Even the car that you drive the family to church in. If you transported a body in it at any time....work expense.
I hope that helps.

I don't take anyone here seriously.Oh, I can understand that...generally strutting around in any form pisses me off.
On my e-mail, I actually thought about going back and adding the jimlad just so you didn't think I was serious with the smartmouth stuff.

It's one thing to claim it, it's another thing to make it through an audit claiming it.

The granddaughter of Nana in the movie Titanic was a hottie.
