Think I'll take a walk though da neighborhood to make sure there aren't any food trucks parked anywhere near my house.

Food truck went all baddaboom in Lakeville last night!

You know, with the food truck popularity, I've often thought of the big tanks of propane on those things, and thought...it's amazing there's not more of that stuff.

So here's the deal with work today...

With the retail job, I'm making out the schedule between me and another gal while our other co-worker snowbirds in FL. All it involves is taking a form, selecting who's working what days, and writing "7-11" M-Sa, then "10-2" on Sundays. The other gal has asked to work weekends because it meshes with her other work schedule. Great!

So at 7:27 this morning, I get a call from her asking when the store opens. I had accidentally put 7-11 on Sunday, so she showed up at 7. She's worked at least the past three Sundays, and we've opened at 12 (necessitating being there at 10) every single time. She then asks if I can work for her today because "I just drove 45 min [from Bloomfield], and I'm not waiting around 2 hours." *sigh* So, I went in. Yes, my fault I wrote the schedule wrong, but any common sense would have said "That's wrong/unusual...you should ask."

And of course, my mental faculties were not at 100% because I just woke up.

Geh.

here a noise coming from the bedroom - look and see two troublemaker kids out in the lawn throwing snowballs at our apt windows. I would have ignored it if they were just hitting the wall, but they were throwing at (and hitting) the windows. So I yank the shade up and they take off like scared mice. DH and I got a good laugh out of that. Went back just now to see if they had returned (since I knew they lived in this building) and they were sneaking back but stopped short when they noticed the apartment manager outside the door with his dog. Ha, I wonder if they thought it was his windows they were hitting.
That's when I get ice shavings from the freezer, open the window and return fire.

Nope lost on a shot with 4 seconds left.

But Marietta had started the season 21-0, led almost the whole game, and the game was super exciting, so it wasn't too bad.

Dang sorry about that at least you got to see an exciting game. Losing isn't so bad if you know your team played well.

Earlier today after I read Cowgirls snowball thread I had to go outside and toss some. I typically throw at the trunk of one of the neighbors oak trees and must hit it before I can go back into the house.
Big boys, little boys, pretty much the same thing except for age.
