Damn baby fever! My fiance is talking about a honeymoon baby. I kind of want to wait a bit and make sure we can sell the townhome first.

She's worried that because her mom had a hard time conceiving that she needs to try as soon as she can. That and she's got baby fever from all her friends popping out little ones.

I kind of want to be married a little while before we add baby stress, but I've been there before so it's hard to talk her down.

I feel like everyone is pregnant right now. Not as many pregnant women at work right now as we had last year, but a lot of non-work people too. Must just be the age I am. Used to be weddings, now it's babies. I kind of enjoyed the weddings. Though we've got 3-4 of those this year too.

You two need to get here before 8:15am CST when the cookies are leaving my house. Although there is one lone cookie on my counter you could fight over. If I don't eat it for breakfast first.
Ah damn, I would've had to let pants have it then.

I get the feeling we're both "fight to the death" guys, and I can't kill a man in love.

no. it's like a social lubricant or nervous habit.
"I couldn't start my car this morning. hahaha".
"Lunch yesterday was really good. hahaha."

Wow, I would cringe at every sentence out of her mouth.

That, or I would preemptively laugh for her just to see her face.

Turns out her job would have her based in CT or MD. BUT, goddam the cost of living is high. There are some beautiful places out there, overlooking the ocean and all, but they're like a grand for about what we are in here in CR.

just went to a work baby shower. Now that this "round" of babies is officially known and well on its way.....people are laying bets on me for the next one. Well, three of us. They're probably right, haha. One of them is in my same group and she's like yeah, it's likely. They decided next June. The third is getting married this fall and hinted at a honeymoon baby, so it looks like they're trying to set us up to be the round for next summer. Lot of work babies born May-June for us the past two years.

I didn't tell them I have to wait until at least Sept. 1st so I don't lose a bet to internet people.

What is it with honeymoon babies? They always seem to only need 5 or 6 months to gestate.

My cousin, for a long time (too long), thought she was a preemie baby. But she was normal-sized. I, being the farm kid well-versed in gestation lengths was like September? But how could you be born in September if your parents got married in February? That's a December date.
