Did you see Niang immediately place the "Do Not Disturb" tag on his door?
There were a bunch of people on the elevator. We stopped on floor 13, he hopped on. The elevator started kinda freaking out. Then everyone got off on floor 18 except for Georges and I and his friend. Told him floor 21 (my floor) has drinks and floor 22 had the gym. You're choice. He said I'll take you up on your offer after Saturday when we win

CG, or Stormchaser does ISU do a game watch in the Madison area? I would think there would be a lot of alumni in the area. There were a few in the Eau Claire area many moons ago. The ones in the Twin Cities are a lot of fun.

Might just be my personality. If I was Niang in that elevator situation I would have gotten on, just stared forward and after a few moments of awkward silence just said "had them the whole way".

Bu, you are apparently our very own Chandler Bing, lol.

But very cool. Super cool. Did you rag on BDJ for his selfish play? :jimlad: Bonus points for telling Fred to use his timeouts more.

sometimes they do, haven't been able to make one yet. I'd like to hang with cool CF people though. I went out with a friend to watch last year in our game against Carolina so I'm a bit gun-shy about doing that again.

Rumor has it part of a zombie movie are being shot at an abandoned theme park here in town. Considering the place was called "Joy Land" and a lot of the decor looked like creepy clown stuff I think I will pass on the movie.

Why do the same schools always make it to the state tournament for basketball? Wisconsin's girl's D5(smallest) championship match is the same 2 schools for the third year in a row. Many other returning schools in the other divisions as well.

I don't live in Madison, I'm about 40 miles away in a town of about 2000. People here think Iowa and Iowa State are the same school. So people always ask me "How Iowa is doing" and I say they suck, but then I proceed to enlighten them but they forget anyway. I believe I was the second person in my town to ever go to ISU

Coach. Town supports that sport....younger students want to be like the ones who won so they go after that sport hard. It's the same in our division for football in IL. Same schools are perennial players and our conference has the D1/D2 winner more years than not (IL is reverse of WI, D1 is the smallest).

Are you talking about Cuba City? I saw that last night. Wasn't their boy's coach the coach there for like, forever?

Is that the area you are from?

Them, and Barneveld and Assumption are playing for the 3rd year in a row. I think youth programs have a lot to do with it. Towns without youth programs seem to have little success at the high school level.

No, I'm from just east of Beloit.

wow, no wonder my hometown was salty a couple years ago. We are always one of the smallest 1A schools, and we lost to a team they had been complaining should have been 2A. Well, that team had been 2A prior to that. How do I know? Because they had two 2A championships and two runner up finishes in four of the six years prior. So they weren't just 2a size-wise......they were beating everybody in that class.

We had heard that school did some funky things with enrollment numbers to get dropped down a class. Probably just small town rumors though.

Barneveld, I did see that one. I heard them mention St. Mary's and I could swear they made it in volleyball as well.

I don't know that Beloit area nearly as well. I grew up just south of the Cuba City area so I wondered if you were from somewhere I would know well.

Beloit area is nothing special. Been through Cuba City a few times. Highway 11 is the way I take to go to Iowa. Love that area over there.

Watching Whitewater right now, they are D3 and in my school's conference. They're also undefeated. 4 of they're starters play on the same AAU team, so they're playing basketball together year round, which is why they destroy everybody they play. And that's another thing, you have to have athletes who work year round and take the sports they play seriously, something my sister's team lacks.
