KC, why does it show your join date as June of 2013? I know you've been here longer than that, right?

Nope. You knew me at ESPN as KCClone. I lurked here on Cyfan occasionally (especially if I wanted a scoop on a game or athlete, or a game livestream), but didn't join or post until a year ago June.

My in-laws' house was under-valued, but it sold immediately. It's tough to separate yourself emotionally from a place that you used to call home, but it's tougher to let it go on too long with nobody wanting to buy it ("why isn't the house I grew up in good enough for you"). It's better if you realize that no buyer will view that place through your eyes.

It wasn't their family farm oer say, just some farm land my grandparents owned. If it was where they once lived, they had moved into town before any of the siblings were born so none of them has a connection to it that way. More disappointed because of potential land prices. It has been rented out to be farmed for a long time, but the current renter wasn't in a position to buy it.

BU trying get all YouTube famous?

I might have to play his video again to try and get a different tune in my head. Breakfast in America by Supertramp is currently stuck in my head. For some reason I have heard it on the radio a several times this week. Lack of sleep and hearing odd tunes seems to be the recipe for them getting stuck in my head.

I was wondering what diefarm stuff was. Then I figured it was just more German stuff.
You know you've spent too much time on German when you read die as the German word for the.

and I turned in pretty good drafts for two of my chapters today meaning I'm done with the first semester of my thesis! It's really nice, but also really weird.

Have you found yourself wanting to pronounce English words with -ie or -ei in them the German way? I catch myself doing that sometimes.

posting from phone troubles. My phone now has a 30 second delay on allowing me to type text messages now too. It really wants to be replaced, apparently.

What I'm worried about is building too much muscle doing it. I'm okay with my mass where it's at, I just want the mass to be less fatty. I know you can fix that with strength training, and I'm still doing cardio, just two miles a night now, so cutting it from 19 to 10 a week, and I'm a bit concerned how my body will react to it. I'm just so sick and tired of running that it's getting to be a major internal battle every night to get myself to go to the gym anymore.

Resistance bands would be good. Or do Insanity. Does your gym have any classes? I'd do those.

I could see you and DH being the last two people under 30 with flip phones.

I already suggested Jazzercise, cowgirl.

Sheesh...

Semi-related note...more pork chops and bacon fat fried taters for dinner....pork fat....

Tonight was chili...with beans!...nothing special. Tasted pretty darn good, though.

But yet...sometimes on a cold winter night, nothing beats a good bowl of Chili with beans. Keep an eye on the horizon, though, Sara...don't get surprised by a covered wagon later on tonight.

No! though mine is a slider. Was like the last of those left when I got it. My previous (three years ago) was a flip phone - Razr's used to be cool!
