Don't these people have facebook or the twitter?

(disclosure, I have neither, but wouldn't send a group text, other than to 2 or 3 people who all knew each other).

DH's parents and some of the other relatives do not. Which is good.

I read this three times before I realized you weren't saying both you AND work need a nap.

hmmmmmmm foggy brain realizes I should have said "Work needs to have/provide" naps.

So we are picking floors. Picked something we liked. Then watch the news and see that Lumber Liquidators is like, bad stuff, man. Now, we weren't getting laminate but a little online perusing shows that many people have had the same issue with their bamboo flooring. Ruh-roh.

But I am an optimist, I told DH that means it should be even cheaper now!

But he is a pessimist and was all "yeah, if you don't care about our kids crawling on cancer wood"

My 68yo mom on Twitter?

My mom's barely on Facebook. She had to call me about all the birthday wishes on her wall and who could see what, etc. *sigh*

It was an informational/prayer request type thing, so I can understand why she did it.

After shoveling this past weekend I let it be known that he will be out there with me someday.

Mrs. Velo took care of my driveway for me before I got home (thank you very much!) yesterday. My seven year old apparently shoveled most of the sidewalk. I was impressed.

So, PapaLew asked me if I'd posted this yet, and I said no...because I thought I would look like some silly fan-girl. Well, with his usual tact, he told me I was being an idiot. So, here it is - laugh if you want, but it made me happy. :)

I bought a shirt shortly after the Iowa game last December, and every time I have worn it, I've commented the same thing - that the shirt is "incomplete".

So, this happened Monday night:

...and now my shirt is complete.
Thank you Georges - you made an old lady very happy.
:spinny:

Admit it KC, you secretly wanted Georges to sign one of your bewbs.

My dad follows me on Twitter. Doesn't he realize I'm on Twitter because my family is on Facebook?

My daughter called me and I had her on speaker phone. My boss walked up and started talking to her. She asked him is she could sit in the candy seats (aka the suite) for the basketball game again (Big 12 tourney).

My daughter = working the hustle

The one benefit to being unemployed is being able to pick up and go. Since I am going stir crazy we have decided to go up to CR for the weekend. I also have an interview in Iowa on Monday that made the decision easier to make.
