Yeah I went to their home game with Gilbert because of the Hoiberg factor and the district games and now state. The entire starting lineup returns next year so I'm going to as many games next year as I can. Hard to catch high school games with season tickets to ISU mbb and WBB
The pool of athletic talent for the young ladies in Nevada is just ridiculous.
I believe they return most of the volleyball players that lost in the semi's at state
They return their entire starting basketball team next year who made it to state
Their soccer team, which went to the state championship, lost only a starter or two if iI remember correctly.

ha, and in my mind I said it such a chipper way. But now re-reading it, it reads like a mean old bat saying it.
I use the recipe on the back of Minute Brown Rice as a guideline. I double that so I use about
2lbs of chicken breast
16. oz of pineapple tidbits, undrained
1 bag of frozen vegetable stir fry
1 cup of sweet and sour sauce
4 cups white or brown rice.
A little water
Cut up the chicken however small of pieces you want. Cook thoroughly. Add stir fry vegetables, pineapple with juice, sweet and sour sauce and a little bit of water. Bring that to a boil. Let sit while cooking the rice separately. Put rice in a bowl or on a plate, top with the chicken and eat.
Tonight I used green and red pepper, pea pods, and onion instead of the frozen stir fry. I used Kikkoman sauce.
Now the box says to cook the rice with everything else, but I don't have a pan big enough to do that. So that's why I don't use the amount of water the box calls. I suppose the pineapple juice is enough liquid by itself. This is only the second time I have made it so I'm still experimenting.
It's turned out liquidy, but the rice should soak it up. Next time I might try draining the pineapple and see what happens

WBB team made it to state this year. The 2 years before they were a game away. Nevada's best player though maybe Lexy Koudelka. She is a starter on the varsity as a freshman and works on her game with Lyndsey Fennelly. I really think she could be a D1 basketball player.
So pumped for tomorrow. Mediapolis may be a high schools girls tradition, #1 in 3A and undefeated but they looked very beatable based on their play Tuesday.
Yeah, I've heard that she's had conversations with Bill Fennelly and one of her former coaches was telling me she will be a D1 player no doubt.
6'3" freshman with good ball handling skills and can shoot anywhere on the court.
hmmm, I've got that recipe on our box o' rice too. Never tried it though. DH didn't like it the time I tried adding pineapple juice to a stir fry (yeah, he was right, it was pretty gross), but I don't think our homemade attempt at sweet and sour sauce has what it needs.
Oh, she didn't, and I didn't think she did, either, but it was so short and direct, it played into that bit of fun about CG being the gatekeeper and interrogating RT newbies...spun it a little with the RT queen angle.
Lyndsey, Billy, Bill and Coach Steyer were at state on Tues. Would be awesome to see a girl from Nevada maybe play at ISU.
I've made something similar but I used orange juice instead of pineapple juice. It was pretty good.
You know it, sister...trying to contain this bunch of misfits...Pants and I would probably constantly be in the dungeon for telling off color jokes in our jester duties. The revolution where we overthrow you might be an interesting thread, though.
