No better feeling than the first grill out/bags game of the year
I do 99% of the grilling in our house. When we did a patio project hubby wanted to run a gas line and put the grill out back. I prefer it in the garage so I can grill all year round. No way you would find me grilling in below zero temps or in the rain if my grill was outside.
Man...Mr. Cowgirl can't drive and Mr. Birdy can't grill? You poor women. I mean, I used to poke fun at Papalew for sewing, but sheesh, at least that's something he knows how to do that he shouldn't (additional competencies), not something he should know how to do that he doesn't.
Speaking of which, though...I was just thinking about your cooking the other day, I was thinking...you know, she's always posting these sweets, but I rarely notice her posting about normal cooking...do they just eat desserts for meals around there? (I mean, not in a haterade fashion, more a bit of jealousy)
that JP news is scary and weird. A coworker just had a serious heart attack over the weekend as well. Also young (younger than Pollard, not yet 40) with young kids and had been doing our work workout class to get into better shape. Turns out he has family history (and a father who just had a heart attack and underwent major hearty surgery a few weeks ago) but it's still just shocking. Sounds like it was most likely stress.
Hope he and JP both recover quickly.
In his defense, hubby CAN grill. We just wouldn't eat until 8pm if he did (he usually gets home between 6:30 and 6:45). We may eat late, but that would be pushing it.
I wish we would eat desserts instead of real food but alas we like red meat as well (happens when you grow up on a beef cattle farm). Last week we had breaded pork tenderloins, bacon wrapped chicken, pork roast and baked potatoes (will be pulled pork sandwiches this week), steak salad, and tacos. Still deciding what to have tonight. Have fixings for grilled burgers later this week. Friday will be fish.![]()

Don't think I didn't give this a thought when jogging in Mexico. I don't have the family history but am decades older than our AD and not exactly a spring chicken. I do wear a little ID bracklet that my most awesome little sister gave me.
I DID IT! I TURNED IN MY I.S.!
I am actually giddy with happiness
You should celebrate. No reading the rest of the day and a nice meal or dessert.
half hour if I'm going slowDoes anyone know the "socially acceptable" time frame for destroying an entire box of peanut butter patty girl scout cookies by oneself? I'm trying to determine if I need to stay out of the public eye for awhile.
