I never thought I'd say this, but I'm taking a break from wearing any Cyclone gear. I don't want to hear the random "Hoiberg" comments if I should happen to encounter a Jayhawk that wants to be dooshy in the grocery store.

I need a few grieving days.

Don't forget your average Hawk doosher who condescendingly says "tough luck" while silently cheering inside. Fran might actually win more than one CyHawk game some day.

I was thinking the exact same thing...give it a week before I wear the Iowa State shirts again. You have Jayhawks, I have a plethora of EIU fans.

This applies to today: "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to."

The response to the squawkeye dooshers is simply,"At least we had a coach that somebody wants." Nobody is sniffing around Fran and there is a reason for that.

I could coach the Cyclones next year and will still be better than the Hawkeyes. They don't really have a leg to stand on.

Going to use this line tomorrow in Manchester if any a-hawks give me crap.

00 and wxman can check the local 10:00 news to see if it results in me brawling at the new brew pub there.

I remember hearing about being in a bar in Manchester during a squawkeye football game years and years ago. They had the iowa fight song in the jukebox under 111. Everytime they would score someone would put about two dollars worth of quarters in it and just repeatedly push the 1 button. It had to be the worst torture ever.

I've moved on to excitement about getting a new coach and not being at a recruiting disadvantage anymore.

You get thrown in the clink, let me know...I can have an ISU buddy over with a dozer in a few minutes.

Walked by a Cyclone basketball poster getting kids' laundry out of their room and teared up a little. Not sure if I should keep fighting it, or listen to Sarah McLachlan while guzzling wine and eating rocky road.

Depends...do you have any more neighbors that might be going into labor?
