I thought we were at the point where people realized that talking loudly on a cell phone in a closed in area was rude.

I hope you are getting about $20 an hour for emergency babysitter work because you damned well don't want to be thought of as the regular babysitter.
You offered. That's the key. Common courtesy to show appreciation. Sometimes my neighbor will snowblow my driveway while I'm at work. I learned to stop offering him something and just give him a gift card. My daughter delivers it so he can't refuse it.They never even offer and it makes my husband mad and he says they are taking advantage of me. When I wasn't home, one of my teenage sons did charge them $10/hour. I just remember when my oldest two were little and my parents were dying and I had a couple of friends who would drop everything to take my boys when I had some emergency with my parents, so I kind of feel an obligation to the universe or something to help other young mothers. I did offer to pay when it was me, but my friends would never take anything.
If someone could find a gif or a short video of someone relieving another person of their cell phone and stomping on it, I would appreciate it.
people are getting ruder and more ignorant as a whole... why would you ever think this?I thought we were at the point where people realized that talking loudly on a cell phone in a closed in area was rude.

So I've literally got no boss for the time being.
And my new boss is going to be new to his position. This isn't going to be good. I'm going to eat him alive. He doesn't stand a chance with me. I had the best numbers in the company, but my old region is the best region in the company, so I was best of the best. My district put more money to the bottom line than all of the rest of this guy's districts combined. It's not good for this dude that Pantsy knows this.....

Gotta have a job first! One of my positives on her list is "gainfully employed". If I quit to move to Nebraska, I lose that point. It's like a double edged sword.
Yeah, I guess you gotta be careful there. I'd hate to take this Romeo and Juliet story and have it end up in tragedy.
College friend just posted a pic on FB of her family captioned "Our new car!" They were standing in front of a PT Cruiser.
I resisted the urge to post my condolences.
I mean, haven't you ever thought about that? Like how dedicated is the officer to getting that ticket?
Tomorrow I have to be up by 4 and get to load 12 loads of pigs. Yippee......
At least I wont have to hear about Hoiberg stuff.
