So, what's the current thoughts on price range for engagement rings?

Younger brother proposed two weeks ago with a simple silver band and now he and the fiancée are going shopping this weekend for something a little more formal. She never wears jewelry so he decided to go with something simple and then pick something out later.

whatever they (and especially whomever is doing the purchasing, if it's a one-person decision) are comfortable with and don't need to break the bank on.

whatever they (and especially whomever is doing the purchasing, if it's a one-person decision) are comfortable with and don't need to break the bank on.

That was my thought as well. They are both aware of their financial situation so I don't think they are going to do anything stupid. Also helps that they both are pretty down to earth and not really materialistic.

KC, our rush at isu is all informal. Basically fraternities will take you to dinner, house tours, etc. nothing formal.

NW, hmmm.. We went to the Korean War memorial which was absolutely eye opening. They don't talk much about it in my history class back in high school. I've been a celebrity every where I go which has been actually really fun. Some guy at the concert we went to actually asked for my autograph hahaha.
