I wondered why normal eggs were like $4/doz when I went shopping yesterday. I found a dozen Texas raised eggs for $3.50. Crazy.

Yeah, I think bird flu wiped out like half of the egg laying stock. I think they had the national guard out to enforce quarantines around the egg farms in western IA. Maybe NWI can confirm.

they were taking out hundreds of thousands here too. Good thing is chickens don't take as long to raise so hopefully it won't be too long. Now something like mad cow wiping out half the beef or dairy? That's going to be a while.

Oh, and if this bird flu thing keeps up, they're gonna have to start stocking the eggs under key like razor blades. $13 for a dozen vegetarian fed eggs at wal-mart. We by normal eggs, but I saw that large sticker and WHOA! Normal were $4/dz, but I think costco had brown eggs for 6/ 2dz.
I was wondering why the ladies brought brown eggs on the trip last weekend. I know I cringed when I saw eggs were $2.30 a dozen.

Still only 10-cents an ounce for protein. Seems cheap compared to alternatives.

Got distracted by Yankee game. Watching it in biking duds, need to get going. 11-1 Yanks in the 3rd, think I can stop watching. :)

I've got faith in ya. I did a 6 month stint in Clarksville AR. Bartlesville is like Palm Springs compared to that place.

The city is fine. I am finding things to do and Tulsa is a short drive away if I REALLY get bored. It is the people here. It is a sad place and my customers don't wanna chit chat at all and barely wanna talk about what they hired me/us for.

Welcome to the world of IT where you have to ask the customer everything 10 times and usually get 10 different answers. Then you get to figure out which is the right one.
