So the carton of milk in my fridge from before I left for vacation expired July 18. But it smells absolutely fine. So conflicted....

I had been drinking some milk before leaving for a week long vacation. Only drank half of it, came home to the unpleasant smell of milk sitting at room temperature for a week. Not good smell.

If it was new your good, but drink it quick. Milk does really well until it starts to oxidize. I wouldn't be afraid of the first couple of days just smell it and take a sip instead of a full drink you'll be ok. (at least that's been my experience.)

Just poured down an inch and a half of rain here between 6 and 7. Putting down new mulch is like a rain dance, pretty much guarantees heavy rain. Lots of it washed down the path and into the driveway. I could probably fix the California drought with a few bags of cypress mulch. There would be the risk of mud slides out there since my mulch dance only brings HEAVY rain.
Naturally, rest of nation is clear and dry per radar with only big thunder snappers in MN/IA.
