So I met the male catholic student version of Crush (the surfer turtle from Finding Nemo) today. I was practicing my bagpipes in the music room in the church, and after I got done this student comes down and tells me how it sounded great and that was the best rosary he's prayed in a while and he felt like he was on a higher plane today (all with the surfer accent). So I have that going for me.

I've been debating back and forth on going to the Hawaii game because it's been raining all day. It finally stopped, I looked up the weather forcast and it's only a 35 percent chance of rain during game time, so I say, **** it, and get online and buy a ticket. As soon as I hit print to print it off, there's a huge clap of thunder and suddenly just a downpour on the roof of the building.

This may take several beers at the game.

Yea. I am using way less than my per diem but I am happy that I don't have to pay for the food myself.

No. My corporate card is an AmEx. Just wait until the multiple times you'll have to use your own card because the entire town of Bum ****, Egypt that you're in won't accept AmEx.

Yea, I already have status at Marriott and almost there on American plus all my Amex points. I am gonna vacation for free as long as I have this job.

In bum**** Oklahoma, I've had that happen already. I used my own card but I can get reimbursed for it. And since my own is a Chase Sapphire Preferred, I get all those perks which is nice. I use it for my taxis to and from the airport and rake in the double points.

Well yeah, I get reimbursed when I use my personal card too, doesn't make it less of a pain in the *** though, as opposed to if they just went with Visa or MasterCard where they're accepted everywhere (oh the irony).
