I didn't think this one through. The house is available again.

Mine is back on the RTT "stuff" list since the previous claiming couple have to forgo their claim. Might have to compete with The Family Z though since this is a great running aea and job market (nice Scandinavian rug for mom push ups to). Did I mention a good school district?

Not been keeping up on this RTT. Hope I haven't missed anything important.

Saw this and thought it might bring a chuckle...

Bells Cargo strikes again!

And I've got proof that they're wrong, too. Took me a good 45 minutes to prove they were the one in error. I was feeling stupid during that time after ranting the other day on here about them. (Yesterday? See KC and Cycarob posts about what day it is)

And my car's acting funny, too. Well, funnier than usual. :(

Pella Walmart now a drive through. Good thing it was a pickup truck at full speed and not a 200 stage freaking snowblower.

And now edit to say didn't realize there were casualties, would not have made snowblower joke. It looked crazy when I drove by and I checked with two people I know that work there and and they are both ok.

So some co-workers and I went to BWW for our monthly team lunch. Apparently they have a lunch deal where you get it in 15 minutes or it is free. She literally walked up to the table at 15:58. If it would have been a basketball game we would have been going to the monitor.

Read a book yesterday which showed me that any moron can finish a dissertation.
This guy did almost no research and said almost nothing. He finished and got a job.

That tells me that this moron can get the job done.

Any time I beat myself up about a mistake at work, I just tilt my head to the side a little so I can see some co-workers. Instant therapy.

*edit, I had to change "name for rooster" to "tilt" to bypass the language filter

Had to fix a broken thermostat in the middle of the night, at least we got heat. Today is they day I'm supposed to get help to put in a new water heater for the basement heat that started blowing water all over. 15 minutes ago the wife tells me her work vehicle broke down at her friends where she went to walk this morning. Apparently been having issues, would have been nice to know before it totally crapped out. Going to be fun today.
Did you happen to have a spare thermostat lying around?

Pulling for their survival. So young and without enough stuff yet for us to bother driving to Wisc to claim. They don't have a snowblower for Carver, no new SUV in the garage yet and don't even have a dog for me to adopt.
I'll take the video games for the teenage boy.

My wife tried to paint a couple of our doors yellow and doesn't like the yellow. I'll also take the plethora of yellow paints.

Somebody else can have the kale.

Two of those in two days in Iowa. As someone commented in the thread on it, don't most of these have the bollard barriers in front of doors?

They have kind of fancy ones in Pella to go with the Dutch town. Not sure they work as well.
