Hell if they had 10 days to look at it and didn't get to it, they must assume your work is fine, send it up the chain and get it done!

we work together on a recurring project a few times a year and this is a loooot of editing and checking numbers that get published. So I'd like other eyes on it just to be safe because if something is wrong, it isn't great. It should be fine but it's annoying that they did it.

I think your little dog had a good owner.

She definitely had it made. Princess with a farm dog attitude. Her nose in the bushes so those little hangie things stuck to her face. She was so happy to be alive. Always running to greet anyone.

[Edit: And now the squirrels in the yard can live peaceful lives. No longer harrassed by her circling their trees.]

Bad day.

Our little dog had a stroke today. While at the vet she seemed to be better. Between testing I was holding her in my arms and gently stroking her. When I went to pass her for the next test she was gone. She died peacefully - but I am a devastated. Came home and everything reminds me of her. She was our little princess.

Sorry for the drama. I hate having been so attached but they are so part of your life.

Did you forget their tickets?

Long story short. This is close to hell for me and I don't understand why in God's green earth you would waste a beautiful day standing in lines for dumb rides with people you somewhat tolerate or don't even know. Oh and we have Magic Kingdom tomorrow.

No matter what anyone says the highlight of the trip was while we were trying to get LittleWx to sleep. He eventually calmed down to the point that he was at least laying down. Then he rolls over so his behind is facing me...and farts followed by him laughing. Then he says "daddy" and does it again. We both lost it at this point and he did it several more times.

So very sorry for your loss, Dean.

So glad I didn't eat fish for dinner.

Yeah...about that...(spoiler for those with queasier stomachs)

Husband just got sick about 40 minutes ago. He came home complaining of a stomachache, and went straight to bed. I was about to go wake him up, but heard him get up and go into the bathroom. Figured it had "worked its way through", but he never closed the door. Then I heard the puking. I'm sitting downstairs, cringing and feeling bad. He calls down, and I ask "Please tell me it made it all into the toilet..." "Ummm....no." Guess who had fun cleaning? And still being able to identify the Mexican food he had for lunch. Ugh. Luckily, I don't instantly get sick at the smell and/or sight. Doesn't mean I don't cough/gag/light matches to get rid of some of the smell. *sigh*
So pukey laundry about finished in washer, followed by a regular load of my work clothes I need tomorrow. And I'm probably sleeping on an uncomfortable couch tonight. Here's hoping it's food poisoning or just that it didn't settle right in his stomach.

I have come to accept the fact that I am a totally passive midwesterner that will just say everything is fine when I want to yell at someone. Our new FNG (glad to not have that title anymore) is a total east coast guy who just tells people when something is pissing him off. Thankfully we are usually thinking the same thing.

My personal philosophy is to bottle everything up tight until it all explodes, resulting in a heart attack or aneurysm, or if you're lucky, both.

Not exactly sure.
If you are looking for a new car, go to edmunds and they used to give you invoice ( dealer cost for domestic was invoice minus MSrp X 3%, then add in about $400 for regional advertising). Then you can subtract the rebates available to you. There are dealer incentives that are not listed sometimes. Expect to pay $1250-1500 over cost in most cases
