Random Thoughts IX (The first 8 were probably better)

Got myself all bundled up to go over to the store & get something that I can eat without spending a lot of time cooking. Cream of wheat, and mac & cheese sounded okay. Also bought some jello cups & ice cream. Got home, went to make the cream of wheat.
No milk.
That pretty much ends the mac & cheese too.
So it's jello & ice cream for supper.

Anybody else feel like this car thing is going to be CG'S new house-like obsession? She'll have a new one in about three years.

It's taken like 4 years or so for her to decide on a new husband (me) someday.

Just had someone walking door to door in the sleet come to my house looking to get donations for PBS. She started by asking for $50/month. Ummm, good luck with that.

One nap (and no dinner) later, and it's down a half degree.
PapaLew left for KC this morning to pick up two grandkids. They're almost to Lincoln, where the will spend the night with another son. Tomorrow morning he will leave with the original two and three of the Lincoln grandkids (one is just a leeeeeetle bit too young yet. They're driving up to Sioux Center to pick up the second oldest grandkid. This time tommorrow night I will have 6 grandkids and one really big kid in the house. I really NEED to get better.

Anyone in here have photoshop skills? We're trying to create a baby announcement and I can't find any free-online tools that are hitting the spot. It should be pretty simple, I just need two versions of the following photo. One with a baby blue tag, one with a pink tag. DM me for a higher resolution photo. I don't feel like creating an entire new thread, so I figured I'd check in here first.

nah, took us about a month to get my car several years ago. May take longer this time because it's DH's and he isn't truly under pressure to make a decision/purchase. With my car, it was the hot summer of hell 2012 and I had no ac in my Celica. So I was like WE ARE CAR SHOPPING OR YOU GET TO DRIVE MY CAR NOW!

nah, took us about a month to get my car several years ago. May take longer this time because it's DH's and he isn't truly under pressure to make a decision/purchase. Took me four hours to make my decision. Took longer to negotiate the price than it did to make the decision.
