Not exactly sure.
We have found that the visa gift cards don't always work in restaurants. One place thought it was due to not being able to add a tip later.

Good to know. Only ones I've gotten has been gifts from vendors and the wife usually uses them. I don't buy hardly anything that isn't strictly for work (outside of groceries I guess)

They make prepaid Visa cards I know. Not sure if there is a fee or if they are vendor fees like the regular credit cards.

I think Visa had a fee, at least after a certain amount of time. They were looking for something at Walgreen's, I believe.

And same thing as Revkah - we've had that happen at restaurants to us as well.

WDSM, are there any restaurants you typically like? Gift cards for those? Wife has a margarita maker that also makes smoothies. Gift cards to the local convenience store for gas? A coffee shop for tea or coffee or whatever you like.

so tried used vehicular. Pretty, pretty nice. Guy hasn't sold a car before and you could tell. I brought up price and he told us what the dealership was willing to give him as a trade in. I'm like welp, this is good to know! DH is like maybe he lied but neither of us believe that. Plus I had checked KBB and that's right in range with the dealer trade in amount. Too bad the dealer's offer is where I wanted to be as well. But I knew that was probably too low.

He's not trying to screw anybody, sounds like wife had wanted a different vehicle to start with, they got this one, and wife still won, hahahaha.

then on the way home noticing that my car has a rattly/buzz type noise at about 1500-2000 rpm on passenger side. Not too loud and pretty sure I noticed it last winter too. But now it's like maaaaaaaaaybe we get this checked out before buying a vehicle, since this is NOT the vehicle getting replaced! Internet says stuff like heat shield, some timing belt thingy, idk.

Rulzzz, you sitting behind the basket at Indiana state game?

CG, under passenger seat may mean the muffler belt is slipping or the idler pulley is going bad.

I can confirm that Rulzz was under the basket. Dude has mad dancing skills.

Now at a thanksgiving dinner at family friends in New Port richey. Disney on instead of football. Don't think I am in America anymore.

I'm back to liking Sorento after more reading online :D Going to look at a used Highlander tomorrow though. So that's our Thanksgiving plan, ha.
I had a Sorento a salad my rental car for a week. Really liked the drive, but hated the peripherals. The stereo setup and wheel controls were just kind of terrible in my opinion. It was a rental so I am guessing it was a lower package, maybe the higher end ones are better.

probably not much different based on the different ones we drove. For the most part, everything we're driving seems so fancy and new to us cause our current ones are decidedly not, ha.

I really liked the car today so we'll see. Supposed to be DH's car but we both know how that will go. Although, I like driving my car (provided this new noise thing isn't lethal and all). I don't like trying to park big vehicles. But if we have a baby, whomever is doing pick up/drop off will probably be driving that vehicle. So it may be mine.
