Back home safe and sound. Fun trip which I will go into detail later on, but good to be home.

So @cowgirl836 @Cybirdy or @BoxsterCy is the volleyball team going to the tourney? I know it was rough for a while, but seems like they finished pretty strong.
yeah, we'll go. Probably won't last long, but we were really strong down the stretch.
Finishing 10-2 was pretty good (and surprising) . Playing well so maybe better then one and done in NCAA's.
solid move to drive back late last night. Between the rock hard bed, dry air (woke up mouth breathing several times), 8am church, and 2 out of 3 nieces fighting colds/teeth and not sleeping well (bet the dry air didn't help that)........I was like I'd much rather not get home til midnight and sleep in my own bed. Worked out well because we always end up dawdling in the morning back home and not back here til early afternoon and the day ends up shot.
Instead, third load of laundry in the dryer including getting the bed sheets washed, all outdoor decorations up, tree and inside stuff up, dishes put away, and now to sit and cross stitch for a bit.

Looked at getting some medium weight running pants (more like thicker running tights). Looked at pricing on major brands...yikes! Opted for cheap Chinese Amazon Plus item on stupid super cheap sale. If they suck I am not out much.

Btw, did have fun playing with baby niece. got some quality time with her yesterday morning when most everybody else left the house. I saw my chance for competition free time (only her mom in the house) and took it.
Well......this explains the driving back early and washing the specified laundry. Congrats nine months early. Hard bed and dry air seem an easy excuse
Friendsgiving was great but I doing it the day after we got back from Vaca made this morning a little crazy but it all worked out. Back to work tomorrow with some meetings on a potential new job/promotion. Stay tuned to see if this works out before CG's!

think mine is permanently on hold/gone at this point, so you no doubt win. It's fine, I'm pushing for a title change instead. Did get a solid raise this summer too.
Don't know the farm, surprisingly. Seem to know many of the NE IA dairies.
Just for record my like is on the title change/raise. I would be fine staying in my position but I am tired of being told that I am "extremely valuable and critical member of the team" while knowing damn well I am the lowest paid member.
It's ok, I've gotten pulled in on some cool projects. but tis why I want title change. Current title is from old manager out of college. title was putting me low then and my role is much advanced since then.
Will agree that in businesses where hierarchy is important, titles can be helpful in many ways. I took a job and was hired by the CFO. He gave me a title that turned out to almost put me on equal footing with him. Only the CEO could fire me and he didn't have the cajones to fire anybody. I was allowed things that I could barely believe at times, and probably beneficial to me since I had a tendency to be blunt and opinionated there.
