Yep, and the baby bouncing in is hilarious. And in hindsight, I might have excused myself and taken the kid outside instead of waiting for the mom, but that's nickpicking, and it doesn't matter either way.

I've seen a lot of comments by people surmising dad didn't have pants/suit pants on. That baby, got me cry laughing. Doot do do, following big sis in my baby hover-round, what's up peeps?

So I have this friend that's like, this major human rights activist. I've had plenty of conversations with her about how I respect her passion and what she does and such. I jokingly made a super sexist comment on something she posted on Facebook. I'm curious to see if her feminist friends try to roast me or if she beats them to it to signal it was a joke.

So need to take two pies and some bar cookies for KC Fish Fry tonight. Made a banana cream yesterday and scotcheroos this morning. Don't feel like getting the double boiler out again for another creme pie. Any thoughts on a pie that sounds good?

I always feel like a light springy pie after the menu they have. Fried or baked fish, grilled cheese, baked potatoes or tots or fries, baked or green beans, coleslaw, and homemade rolls. All sits kind of heavy.

Pumpkin is easiest but seems like a fall pie. Lemon meringue is good but don't want to go to trouble of meringue again. Suggestions? Leaning towards peach or blueberry or apple.

And once again skipping eating at fish fry due to Friday night basketball. We're doing mac and cheese bar at home. Fish fry is $20 per family, usually make out like a bandit on that deal with my kids.

Since there is a lot of salt in that meal, counter it with sweet. Make a strawberry, cherry, apple, blueberry, peach and a chocolate. Pick one and send the rest down to KC with ImJustKCClone and Papalew. I'll make sure nothing goes to waste.

Not exactly sure.

KC never invited me to her fish fry.

My vote is strawberry pie. I have a favorite recipe I use.

Kids started spring break yesterday at 1pm. I have pretty much been running kids places ever since 1pm yesterday. The kindergartener had a birthday party to go to at Cardinal Gymnastics in Beyer Hall at 10am while school is in session. That was fun trying to get there as classes change and no where to park.

Student in class yesterday let me know that my lecture on Monday made a huge impact on him.
He loved the content and the energy all the way through, he says, but added that one bullet point at the bottom of one slide bugged him, and now he either needs to drop the course or drop out of college. He'll let me know which one pretty soon.

Impact!

what was that one bullet?! "I'm actually the devil and I plan to collect all your souls by spring break?"

He's taking his anti-gun stance to a whole new level.

I love strawberry pie. Too cheap to buy fresh ones this time of year and have never tried it with frozen. It does sound light and springy though. Went with peach,

Have a kid in Friley, used to have one in Helser. My go to on parking over there was to look for a meter spot in State Gym parking lot. However, I have squatted in the parking lot of that church across street (Sheldon maybe?) from State Gym and had good luck. They let you park there on move in day and as long as nothing going on at the church, not so bad. Also have done meter spots by Howe (usually in Howe lot, not street) but I hate driving on that street between Howe and Hoover because it is all Cy-Ride and kids crossing the street with noses in phone without looking. If you get there when it isn't between classes, not so bad.
