I mean, calling in an order and then picking it up was simple, but ordering online and picking it up is next level awesome for Casey's pizza.

DH is manning the door while I was getting ready and he met another ISU grad, but they had an Iowa coozie and apparently are Iowa fans. Boo that.

it's been less than an hour (first kid was right at 5:00) and we have like 12 pieces left. And a golf cart pulling a trailer full of people just pulled into the neighborhood. I didn't want to be the house that runs out! We aren't even going to make it halfway through, haha.

Ames had trick-or-treating last night because of the game tonight. I must say my daughter made a pretty kick *** Axl Rose. They got so much candy, it is ridiculous. I took the littlest 2 and we hit the one street a block away that has 3 dentists. Three new tooth brushes each, plus the oldest got 2. Two of them hand out full sized candy with the tooth brushes. And one has hot cider and hot chocolate for the parents.

No football yet so might as well do desert prep. Something something crisp since I am a no trick pony.

Comfort food is simmering on the stove (sorry 00, no ghost peeps, just green bells, red bells and green chili peppers ....it's steak not a spicy sauce dip). :)

I was going to donate to your special cause but with Gray picking I'm screwed.

Hope you gave their kid the selection from the "cheap" candy bowl not the "good" candy bowl.

Went down to VB, good exciting games and we got the win. Ran into some people I knew but none of them were tailgating, walked thru the parking lots and it was really nice lots of people grilling and having fun, it was a great change to see people happy compared to all the complaining that goes on in the FB board.

Woo drove downtown and there was a policeman practicing his bagpipes in front of the police station.

Woo, just curious how many hours a week do you think you average between classes and studying? It seems like you write lots of papers just going from your posts.

Oh, I don't really condone eating ghost peppers, just thought it was apropos.

We went around the neighborhood, some of our neighborhood friends and outside of town friends all met here, the guys walked around with the kiddos, women stayed here and handed out candy (they tried drinking wine, but mrs00 couldn't get the bottle open without her knight in shining armor).

It's probably me more complaining about it than anything else. and I spend a lot more time online while I'm there than I should. But I get to school about 8 and leave between 5-6, do a bit of work at night and then spend the weekends doing work (more on Sunday than Saturday) So about 17 hours in class and 48 hours outside of class for 65 total hours. But that's a rough estimate
