Holy ****... Phoenix kinda blows. I had some people really talk it up to me. Humans shouldn't live here.

I have family in Phoenix. My only 2 cousins that are my age live there. One works in a medicinal weed shop. Only time I'd go see them if there's spring training games to go see or the Brewers are in town.

Our school has a big fundraiser every year with tons of silent auction items and live action items. In addition to the usual theme baskets, they get some big ticket items. The latest one they are posting about is 2 tickets to a Bulls game and a $725 travel voucher for a 2016-17 game. Of course there are always lots of Iowa State packages, too, like this one:
Let’s Go State!- 2*ISU fans will get to cheer on the Men’s basketball team! *This package is loaded! *It includes 2 tickets to an ISU men’s Big 12 conference game during the 2016-2017 season. *Your seats will be in the 4th*row, VIP Parking Pass, 2 wristbands to Johnny’s, $100 Gift certificate to Aunt Maude’s for dinner, $100 gift card to Cy’s Locker Room for new ISU attire, Attend 1 practice session during the week prior to the game, and a signed ISU basketball. *Ticket Holder must be 18 years or older and in Cyclone apparel to be admitted.
Cyclone VIP Football Experience-*Enjoy an exclusive VIP game-day experience at ISU’s Home opener game against UNI on Saturday, Sept. 3rd, 2016. *This package includes 4 game tickets to the Athletic Department’s Balcony Suite, food and soft drinks, VIP parking pass. *Winning bidders must be in Iowa State apparel.

There are also other big things like a trip to the Bahamas and a rod/reel or fly fishing trip to places CO, FL, or WA state.

I approve!

I expect that the bids are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my price range though!

That's the truth. They also get their brains, kindness, sense of responsibility and sense of humor from their mom. From me? Let me think. I suppose the boy will lose most of his hair. Thanks Dad.
I thought I heard that came from his maternal grandfather, soi you don't even get that.

Also, this semester is totally cutting down on my rtt posting and I'm not a fan

Yup. Male pattern baldness & colorblindness are both carried from father to daughter to grandson. I'm a carrier for both...and sadly, I hit with 50% accuracy...on the same son for both. :)

Fun fact - their father was also colorblind; if we had produced a daughter, she had a 50/50 chance of being colorblind.

The male pattern is the baldness that starts in the back of the head, I believe. My balding started at my temples which, I think, comes from your dad so I am totally claiming my son's future baldness.

Learned something shopping this evening (only our shopping gals CG and 55 and our fraternity bro Bu will be interested).

Was shopping for a light sweater something because, like Pants reminds us, it can get cool in the tropic paradise evenings. Checked out the Nordy's Rack and found a light weight cool zippered sweater thingy. Fit great and only $38. Look closer at label and see it's a Rod & Gunn and priced first at $155. Yikes. Reminded me of why I was at the Rack and not regular Nordys. Had to look up the label later...kind of a spendy New Zealand brand which I am sure Bu is familiar with.
"Why yes, Bu, it is a Rod & Gunn."

You might be responsible, but MPB is back & front thinning to form a monk's tonsure:
