Well, I am finally getting the gray temples and such. And the random white eyebrow hair, ack! :)

My Grandpa on my dad's side was similar. Wasn't really salt and pepper until in his 70's. While I don't have the black hair like him, I hope I'm the same way. Well, I mean, I don't really care that much, but it'd be nice, I suppose.

the whining that precipitated DH's final countdown was me yelling to him that I was a young 20-something as I was sitting on the couch cross stitching and watching Frontline.

Not exactly sure.
Had to pull over to mention this. On highway 169, I cross an intersecting blacktop. There is an explorer at the stop sign. I watch two people walk behind the vehicle and start hugging each other like a long time no see intimate hug. WTF is that. Still hugging when I went past and out of distance. Vehicle just passed my stopped pickup and drove into Minnesota. You Minnesota people are strange.

It's not cheating if it's in a different state

Speaking of coffee, had the gal at Starbucks in Amsterdam totes confused as I trying to just order a plane coffee with nothing added. She spoke very good English but we couldn't get through to each other till she asked a co-worker to help. I kinda felt it was my fault for asking for a plain coffee. Why were you in Starbucks? Cause in a tourist trap neighborhood it actually had the cheapest coffee!

Speaking of tourist traps, they had super ripoff cheese shops in that neighborhood. Selling soft goudas "aged 4-month" at inflated prices well above what I would pay for much better Dutch cheese imported to a grocery here in Mpls. Beyond comprehension I found a full kilo of 18-month Old Amsterdam at the airport of all places for like $19 Euros. For a fraction of what that rip store was charging for 4-month. I really hate the people who run those stores and the ***-holes trying to hawk you into their ****** tourist trap restaurants. People who enjoy these neighborhoods are the same kinda people who like going to state fairs. It just ain't me.

We Minnesotans are all about safety and pull over for this stuff. No quickie induced distracted driving, man.

And they might also have been doing their own little Beatles tribute?

Be thankful you're by the Minnesota border and not the Wisconsin border. Their hugs involve hands and a throat.

Ask for a plain coffee not a plane coffee and she would probably be fine.

Stopped for lunch and to kill time before my after lunch appointment. Guy walks by me with Velcro shoes (probably 40-50 age) not tied or velcroed or whatever you call it. That has to be lazy when you cant even push the Velcro down.

So I must have fallen asleep with YouTube playing last night. The queue must have sent to to Vines compilations. I mean, some of them are funny, but it seems like it's 40 different people making the same joke repeatedly.
