Shocker of the day - my wife knew all the words to this song when it came up on the radio today:

My face as I listened to her sing along: :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I now call her a chatta-hoochie.
Does this make her hotter than a hoochie coochie?

I've been riding the bus to work most days, especially since the construction that makes it nearly impossible to go south from the NW suburbs. Over the last couple of months, I've noticed a lot of couples have been riding the bus together (I find this weird enough in itself) and they've been way too affectionate on the bus.

On the way home last night, I sat near two other dads that have kids the same age as mine. We talked football. Our high school's starting QB has a broken bone in his back. The kid that would be the backup (Freshman, my son's age - they won state for 8th grade last year) quit to play soccer. @cyrocksmypants - Nobody ever quit football to play soccer before you moved here.

This song was the summer after I graduated HS. At that time I listened to a lot of country, I could probably sing along as well.

My contributions to the gas stuff. Our friends that live in Austin posted last night that Austin is out of gas.

We had our fantasy football draft last night. Our fantasy football league consists of 16 teams. Seven fathers and 9 kids. Of the seven fathers, only 3 of us were drinking beer last night... at a fantasy football draft! @CloneLawman , @WooClone15 - Isn't it written into the federal code somewhere that you are required to drink beer during a fantasy football draft? I am pretty happy with my team as I've heard of all the players I drafted except 3 and one of the 3 has the name Jacquizz.

Has there been a Michael Vick thread? Just randomly thinking here....so tired of watching Indiana lose to the professional team from Columbus. I'm packer fan....but I've always kind of disliked something about Aaron Rodgers...the cat-like aloofness. The arrogance that is just a tad over the limit of polite society.
More bored randomness??...I don't know. Just tired of tv. Tired of social media. Tired of the economy. Tired of Mylie Cyrus.
I do like our weather...here in Iowa that is. I like peppers too. Yummmmmm peppers.
1. We picked up a bunch of Italian peppers from the farmers market and made salsa with them. They were perfectly sweet and delicious in the salsa we made.

2. Spelling police would say it's Miley. I need to defend the benevolent goddess that brought us Party in the USA.
