Our oldest was named after my paternal grandma and hubby's maternal grandma who had the same name. My grandma was born in like 1905, so an old/classic name. So happened while I was pregnant a famous tv character named her baby the same name. Has been in the top 5 baby girl names the past 15 years. She has 4 in her class alone. We can't go to a sporting event without hearing it multiple times on opposing teams as well. Still don't regret the name choice, I loved my grandma and so many good memories with her. And it is one of those names that stands the Grandma Test. If you put Grandma in front of the name, does it sound good/normal/not weird.

Also, what's with the winter storm warning at home right now, seriously wtf. We have plants arriving next week and I'm afraid the frost won't be out yet!

Anyway, off to hike. Hope the sun peeks through at the waterfall - think we're doing that one. @cyrocksmypants, have you seen the news about Kauai lately? We won't even get to see the north trails/Hanalei area because they got 28 inches of rain on Friday when we got in. Crazy bad flooding up there.

I think I read that the mayor said it was the worst they’d ever seen there. And that’s saying something because it’s the rainy island. Sounds like its just getting blasted.

We might go Greek though. Almost all of the names I liked were Greek or Hebrew. Go figure. I was looking at the meanings and then the name.

My 3 boys have a Hebrew biblical name, a Gaelic name, and a Welsh name.

And their meanings are "faithful", "noble", and "noble/well born", but none of those were picked on purpose.

We had a boy's and a girl's name picked out when we went to the hospital for our 13 year old so we ended up using the girl's name. When we went to the hospital for the 10 year old we still had the boy's name but couldn't agree on a girl's name so I just prayed for a boy. Some prayers are answered "yes".

We took both of them from the Old Testament. Both solid, traditional names. I cheated on the boy's name because it was the name of my little brother who didn't make it through child birth.

Not exactly sure.
Not sure why I spaced on this, but youngest’s middle name is my wife’s brothers name who died in childbirth.

We did not carryover any name at any time. Such as, the girls name for the oldest was never an option for 2 or 3.

I was the third of three girls, all named David Neill before birth. My sister picked my name. I named my first son after his father, who was a jr, so he is III. Second son was "named after me" - David Neill. I planned on using Katherine Elizabeth (from my deceased mother & grandmother) if I had a girl. Oh well.
When David had a daughter, he "named her after himself"...using the girl name I had picked out. Full circle...and made his ma very happy. :D

Wherever I go, there I am.
I did have a dream about a specific girl name last night, I'll go see if DH shoots this down too.
Is it...
By the way @cowgirl836, if you want to crowdsource your baby naming, just let me know. I love picking baby names.

I'm sure others on here would be glad to help as well.
I think RTT should decide it. Each poster can submit one name, then have a poll posted by none other than @GTO and whatever name gets the most votes wins.
