A lot of corruption and wrist slapping going on. It's who you know and what your last name is that matters. The 3 students will be at graduation tomorrow and get their diplomas. Apparently, the state track qualifier was allowed to go too.
Still not finding anything online for this. I would think the parents of the affected students would sue the parents of the others.
Lots of misinformation being spread right now. The rumor is as long as they apologize there won't be any consequences.
If someone ended up in a hospital I would think just an apology isn't going to cut it. Civil suit.

I hope nothing happens at graduation today. Heard there might be some protests or something. District said the reason they are keeping this quiet is because of privacy laws. One of the parents of a victim has sent a letter to all the TV stations about the apparent lack of punishment.
Day to semi-relax finally! Though I think I'm spending it trying to crank out thank-yous and organize stuff. Also randomly washing winter coats. Probably wash some baby stuff later, too. Leftover donuts for breakfast and like three servings of ice cream got eaten out of what DH got for the shower so I'm set for ice cream this summer!
Not saying it is not a big deal or wasn’t wrong, I’m just curious what the students thought would be funny. Unless things have changed, most 15-20 year old men walk around almost all the time with wood. You really wouldn’t have noticed much difference.
Nothing confirms my desire to never live in my hometown more than seeing the locals who never moved hammered at the local bar. No thanks.
