Not exactly sure.
And in the 90's. That's when I moved up here. And I heard plenty of them.

Prior to meeting me, my wife won a Halloween costume contest dressed as Miss Iowa. Her friends found it pretty ironic that she got engaged to a hot guy from Iowa.*

*note - one word in this paragraph is fabricated. See if you can guess which one.

First, how many times has your wife been engaged?

Looks like the KC thunderstorm magnet is working this evening. Last year it was BC killing north central Iowa. Looks like it is going to be KC this summer.

Well another pretty good day got quite a bit done. Equipment fix was pretty easy, broken pipe E-Z outed it and bought a new one added some fluids back and good to go.

Busy day tomorrow have stuff to do for other job hopefully I can get it done in a half day.

Trivia question on MLB baseball game of the week tonight. Not sports related. Name the five beaches of the Normandy Invasion. I got only four. :( Did get the one the Canadians landed at though which was good since the game is in Toronto tonight. ;)

Hey, KC, is that your Winnebago? Is that going to be the RTT RAGBRAI support vehicle? Some of us are wanting to ride the day before and day after Ames. End of day in Ames is a ride into Jack Trice and around the field. Kinda cool.

We found out that if we are desperate we can almost fit a car into the third stall. My dad had driven his convertible (top down) from NC Iowa to Ames to watch softball. He wasn’t worried about the hail (“I have insurance”) but I was getting nervous. Good thing it is a smaller vehicle. Couldn’t close the garage door but it was 99% in.

We lost electricity and another neighbor texted me asking if we still had their key from when my girls cat sat for them. They had been at the mall and came home and weren’t able to open their garage door. Not many people carry house keys when you just go through the garage. I have a house key in my van and usually I will grab one if I am going on a walk with my kids because sometimes our keypad doesn’t always work or the electricity goes off for odd reasons (like a car hitting a pole).

Hi everyone!

My CF time has taken a big hit with work volume and really crappy mobile. Posting in mobile is straight pain for me.

Just got back from my daughter's pre-tryout soccer camp with another club. After years of never being considered for her current club's top team, my daughter was offered a spot on another club's top team after a two day camp. The coach picked up on her strengths and weaknesses immediately and said he loved her attitude and work ethic. It seems like a really good fit for her.

She is so friggin excited!

I know better than to think everything is going to magically be perfect, but it was so awesome to see her genuinely happy playing the sport she loves again.

Bonus: we won't have to endure the upcoming tryout weekend with all of the drama at all. It's normally like some horrible reality show.

I have been meaning to get a house key for my car keys. We actually should have several made....I will get around to it in a few years. ;)
