He did try to commit to UNC parents made him put the brakes on. Secondly I just don't see him going to unlv well maybe now that oubre has committed to ku they will stick around longer but in the end its isu... btw unc is not stacked with 2 guards... we have plenty of 3's, 4's, and 5's, but no 2 guards so he could come in and might not be the man but he would be a starter. Just don't see him coming here

Ehh, I'm not going to count UNC out. Obviously I'm just assuming, but it seems like Vaughn likes UNC but maybe his parents dont? Thats why he wanting them to come out there so bad, maybe to try and impress them. I wish it was as easy as saying its ISU but its not. I for sure thought Wiggins was going to Florida State and out of nowhere commits to KU. Picking up Oubre may help Iowa State but not certain. I still think UNLV has a great shot with him. Personally, I cant believe he'd rather play in the MWC rather than the ACC or Big 12. He always talks about playing against the best of the best, he'll get that in the ACC or Big 12 and not as much in MWC.

Hopefully Vaughn and Oubre have a bit of a competition going on and Rashad wants to compete with Oubre at Iowa State. Pure conjecture, but an angle that could​ be realistic, though I doubt.

Well I personally think it hurts their chances because I think Vaughn wants to be the guy at his position. Some people think he may want to play with Oubre but I haven't read that anywhere so I'm still thinking today's news was a bonus for ISU.

No one expected this thing would be a walk in the park. Frankly I like a UNLV/ISU match up much better than facing UNC, KU, etc.

Not that I'm even counting them out because things can change quickly.

Hopefully they chose to decide before March, but yes i am also excited. Vaughn has the chance to be the first of many to follow, which gives me an idea for his nickname...
