Re: Rashad Vaughn

I'm not sure if anyone heard, but UNLV lost to UC Santa Barbara by 21 at home on Tuesday. They seem to be playing there way out of Rashad now. They already are really far away from home and get limited coverage, and now they can't even beat the bad teams they are supposed to run over easily. The first overall pick they had is playing horribly in the NBA too. Right now I post season doesn't look too good for them either considering the also lost to Dixie State, although it's still really early so things could change. I'm not seeing why anyone would want to go to UNLV over Kansas or Iowa State now though.

Who the hell is UC Santa Barbara?

UNLV's coach sounds like he is competing with Scott Drew and John Calipari for "biggest disappointment" and "how to do nothing with so much talent" awards.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I expect chants of "Commit Today," "Commit Today," "Commit Today" to echo throughout Hilton. Peer pressure, lots and lots of peer pressure. I assume his family will be coming down from the Twin Cities, they can drive him over to Nevada after the game, and he can sign the letter there :spinny:

Please connotate when using Nevada. Nevada is a state, Nevada is a town in Iowa.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Had to give up my Michigan tickets as my ex suddenly realized she needed my son to attend a birthday dinner, so I gave them to a guy on the promise that he would lose his voice. This is my sad face.

Your story is missing details. What the heck does your ex telling you that your son needs to attend a dinner have to do with you going to the game?

1. Shared custody

2. She just traded a day to be named later with me so he could come along when we got my beagle pup

3. This is the day she chose for the swap

4. She is a monster

5. We had a tense discussion about this particular day. Refer to item 4

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Apparently UNLV fan want's Dave Rice fired. LOL.

Rebel-Net.com - Message Boards

I am bored at work so I took a little adventure over to this poor man's message board. I found these posts quite entertaining:

"Get him out of Las Vegas. I don't care if he is a former rebel or can recruit. The only time he won was with Lon Krugers players. He can't coach at all. They have a post who backs down over and over again and we don't double team. Our run and gun offense can't score, we don't play defense, and he can't get guys playing their second game to hustle. Obviously this man is in over his head. It's embarrassing to sit and watch the game with 12000 people booing. Kruger never got booed. This makes me sick to even watch. For the first time ever I left early. Couldn't take it anymore. This is the worst Rebel team I've ever seen.

These recruits all could score in high school. Suddenly they come here and can't make a shot. It's coaching people....wake up and get this bum out of town."

and...

"I wonder what Dave Rice says to recruits to get them to come to UNLV. Any recruit watching the first two years of Rice can see he has no idea what he is doing as a head coach. He has never improved on any of his major flaws (FT shooting and breaking a 2-3 zone), so when to we pull the cord on the coach that did a great job transitioning us from Kruger to the talent we have today, but this talent ship is going to run dry very shortly."

Here's the link: Rebel-Net.com - Message Boards. Awesome title.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

The cruel Chris Williams demanded that you stand, I require only that you kneel....

Is a movie reference too cliche for my takeover speech after I make post 5000?
