Re: Rashad Vaughn

Wish some of the Rebel fans were still around now days.
In a piece written on ESPN they talk about 5 teams that are in trouble. On that list.... yep... UNLV
Notre Dame Fighting Irish among five teams in trouble this season - ESPN

UNLV (3-4): Most teams suffer after losing key players. But the Runnin’ Rebels’ problems are a combination of departures -- Anthony Bennett was the No. 1 pick in last summer’s draft and Mike Moser transferred to Oregon -- and limited cohesiveness due to a multitude of new faces. Bryce Dejean-Jones (13.3 ppg) is one of just three UNLV players who logged 5.0 mpg or more last year. Dave Rice’s program is 260[SUP]th[/SUP] in adjusted offensive efficiency. That’s what happens when a team loses more than 50.0 ppg of production.

Wonder how this season turns out for them and if anyone else jumps ship on UNLV.

I love how the author tries to justify it by pointing out they lost 50 ppg from last year's team. Pretty sure we did too.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Dear Mr. Vaughn. The ISU basketball team will be a legitimate top 5 team next year when you decide to commit to Mr Hoiberg and the good guys. The team next year will be full of talent.

Sincerly,
Fan that can't wait........

Anyone know if this tweet was referencing anything specifically?

If you haven't heard anything from my circle then you don't have an reliable source

RV tweeted that at 12:51pm today. Curious if anyone saw a reporter or writer claim to know something that may have caused the tweet.

According to a source, 2014 Chipola (FL) JUCO shooting guard Torian Graham will take a visit to UNLV on Monday.
UNLV, Cincinnati, and Kentucky are the “main schools” involved right now, according to the same source.
Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin and an assistant visited him last week; Kentucky is in the mix as well, but the magnitude of their interest is still not known.

I live here and am a born and raised Minnesotan and these Gopher Hole nuts are getting close to Hawkeye territory for absolutely craziness.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Gopher fans are idiots. They think they deserve Vaughn for absolutely no reason with an unproven coach. Since we're close to Minnesota and gaining more interest from them than the hometown team, it makes them think we're cheaters and that NOTHING has to do with our new, incredible head coach. They're just jealous of us. Little Pitino is going to have a lousy time in Minnesota since he won't be getting any decent recruits within the state of Minnesota.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Saw a little bit of the Apple Valley(Tyus) v. Whitney Young(Okafor) game on TV. It is crazy that Coach K is getting both of those guys.

I can only imagine the nuthouse that gym would have been with Cyclones coming out of the woodwork to welcome them to the fold if they had only gazed into The Mayor's eyes.
