Re: Rashad Vaughn

On his final 5 for sure:
ISU
UNLV
Kentucky
UNC

Last one goes to:
Minnesota or Kansas

That's my guess. The 4 schools he has officials with and Minnesota because he is from there and Kansas because it's Kansas and his Findlay teammate Kelly Oubre is going there. Baylor and Arizona will be out.

One of his other teammates from Findlay just comitted to Arizona yesterday or day before. Just fyi..

Re: Rashad Vaughn

What exactly did they do wrong on his visit other than lose the game?

There were almost as many Illinois fans in the building as there were UNLV fans there. Rice also proved he wasn't a good coach by calling 2 timeouts in the last minute that were less then 15 seconds apart, and after all that the best shot UNLV could get off was a highly contested 3 point shot that really had no chance of going in.

Re: Rashad's tweet about "hearing from his circle"...

I know people get wound up about our fans tweeting at Vaughn (and other recruits) - but I guarantee UK, UNC, and other bluebloods have more/ bigger jock-sniffers than we ever imagine. I sort of assume that it may be in regard to something from one of these fanbases. UK re-starts their recruitment, and suddenly there is 20 different stories about him - some with unique information that no other media-person has been reporting. You've got to be skeptical about that.

I still remember that Kentucky fan offering up his wife if he came to UK. They are nuts down there.

I know this was probably posted about 2 pages ago, but I've given up on trying to keep up with this thread haha
Anyway, how cool was RV's tweet about Hilton?! Come on Rashad; just commit to the good guys already!

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Watching this team this team it is impossible to ignore that RV is the missing piece to next year's squad. Fred has put together a cast that complements RV very well. If I recall correctly, he has seen some time at the 1 for Findlay Prep. I see him having the lead guard role of Kane, with MM helping shoulder the pg duties and surrounded by shooters to keep teams honest.

Monte struggles at times this season adjusting but no doubt he starts at point next year. I am betting Vaughn would start at SG with Thomas and Naz first off the bench. Hogue, Nader and Niang being the other starters. When McKay is eligable at semester, he becomes the 8th guy in with SDW seeing time here and there like this season. No idea where Bluford fits in the rotation. Edozie when in foul trouble and maybe Custer sees some decent minutes backing Monte up

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Is Thomas going to be like Ejim where every year people are saying he's not going start the next season and every year he does? It sure seems like it.
