Obviously not, that would have been redic. What im saying is that to suggest that his education was/is more important than basketball is as laughable as suggesting that had he been able to go his after his frosh year he wouldnt have.

has an injury problem this year, so he will start out as an NBA backup this year at SF.

McKay committing may be more influential than Cunningham. One would think McKay would contribute a lot more in Spring 2015 than Cunningham.

God some of you are absolutely ******* nuts.
If your going to make MILLIONS playing basketball, of course your going to care more about basketball in college than your education. That being said, he could've easily been a one and done AND HE DIDN'T because he knew he could still be a great basketball player, still be a lottery pick, and get his education.
It's hilarious that some of you are still butt hurt that he chose a program consistently good at basketball instead of going to ISU when they had Greg ******* McDermott as their coach and were the most embarrassing they've been in 20+ years. Don't come on here and talk **** about a kid because he didn't do what YOU wanted him to.
And if you think any guaranteed lottery pick has ever cared more about their education than basketball, you, my friend are, stupid.

And the whole "but he led us on" thing is your own fault. He loved ISU. He loved the players and the coaches. But what the hell was he going to get done here with Greg McDermott? Maybe put up better numbers, but probably not get the recognition that he got at UNC.

Why are we talking about Barnes in a RV thread... 2 different people, 2 different decisions, 2 different reasons for making decisions. The only thing they have in common is they were both 5 stars out of high school and both at some point considered isu. The comparisons can end there.
