I was skeptical when I heard that too. How could someone literally get bored at a game where the home team is about to knock off a top 10 team? This must not have known who Vaughn was.

What is it with goofer fans and the condescension towards ISU and Ames? That silly thread on their messageboard comparing Ames to MSP is just ridiculous. One of them even said Ames only has 1 Starbucks so it must be a crap town. You kiddin me? Minnesotans can only buy 3.2 beer at grocery stores, and Ames is lame?

Bitterness that our basketball program is on the rise and could potentially build a pipeline into their home state at the expense of their team, who for the next few seasons at best will probably be 7th best in conference. Think Iowa football fans after we became bowl eligible last season.

I was hoping the students would have gotten more Rashad chants going, I thought they did better against Baylor last year, but this game had an overall better atmosphere

Lol. That reminds me of the time I caught a guy watching an Iowa State game on his phone at the game. Why in the name of hell would you waste your time and money to go to a basketball game just to not actually watch it or even try to be a part of it?
