Re: Rashad Vaughn

I don't care what his list is. He can shrink it to 3 or expand it to 20 for all I care. He either picks ISU or he doesn't. Finishing 2nd is the same as finishing 20th.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I know all schools have those fans that are obnoxious , rude, and arrogant. But is there a fan base that epitomises all three like "big blue nation" they are tweeting vaughn by the millisecond. First it was we want blackman than the other sg they missed on now it's vaughn come on down? Man I hope he tells them where they can stick the scholly offer. I imagine the convo in my head like this. Uk"Vaaauuggghhnnnn you have always been our top priority.
Vuaghn "what about blackman? Don't you have Devon Booker? "
Uk well we decided you were more important than blackman, and as for booker umm we uhh...
Vaughn "Yeah after blackman picked indiana. Have a nice day uk."
One can only dream.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

We should know who his final six are once he names his final official visit. It will be the five schools that received official visits and Minnesota. So I'd say it's kind of trimmed already. ISU, UNLV, UNC, UK, his final visit school, and Minnesota.

Depends, but he's not far from Arizona. It would eliminate KU or Baylor.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Within a one hour time frame after UNC beat MSU, about 20 tweets were sent to Vaughn from UNC fans.

I would much rather finish 20th. If you finish 2nd its a major di*k tease for 12+ months, and it holds us hostage on our other recruits scholarship spots.

This may not mean anything at all, but I think it is interesting to note too that Naz went to Findlay Prep for a year before finishing his high school/prep school in Canada I think. I don't know that this would help ISU, but it certainly can't hurt either.

In our sports thread in the Ladies of CF group, he said Fred is dreamy and Roy is . . . well, not.

This, and this alone, is why I think Hoiberg would leave for the NBA. I couldn't stand having to deal with 18 year old kids playing games. All this back-and-forth and non-commitments is getting annoying. Frankly I'm sick of it. Make a choice and let's all move on.

If RV really wants to come here he should say it up front. If he doesn't he should tell us and move on.

I can understand your viewpoint, but I would submit Tim Floyd as exhibit A for why the NBA isn't necessarily a good career move for college coaches.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

I just saw this as well. Really wonder how NCAA will handle all of this in the future. Accessibility to people is easy now.

I'm not sure. I bet most donors wouldn't even think about that. It hasn't become prevalent until recently. You probably couldn't find a single DI fan base that hasn't broken that rule.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

This isn't a new rule. With the exception of high profile people who have verified accounts, it is impossible for the NCAA to prove who anyone is on twitter. As far as the average joe is concerned, this rule is unenforcable.
