I've prepared myself for him saying UNLV. It won't make any sense and ISU fans will be dumbfounded and unable to rationalize his decision.

Me too. I worry that this thread could take an ugly turn if that happens too. It could make our previous meltdowns look like nothing.

I think Vaughn will be picking ISU, but I expect nothing and won't be too surprised no matter where he goes. No one should be surprised when a star recruit picks UNC, KU, or UK.

I'm not surprised when someone picks UNLV, just confused.

Better not discount UK that fox slipped back in the hen house a few weeks ago.

About 60 percent of UNC players were reading between fourth- and eighth-grade levels. UNC-Chapel Hill was caught up in a fake-class scandal two years ago. Now, researchers at UNC revealed that a number of their players cannot read well enough to follow news coverage about themselves. Now, that is what I call never being heard from again!
How much talent do they have on their roster? Where are they ranked in the top 25 again?

In a strange turn of events RV has decided to commit to Travis Ford at OSU. RV feels Ford can regress his skills enough to allow a full four years which results in a college diploma. Oddly, RV felt playing in Hoiball and the resulting Nat'l Championship would only pressure him more to drop out of school after one year.

Most great players who have chosen UNLV in the past have had $ome $tupendou$ reason$. No proof Rice is doing it the Tark way, but he sure had a first hand look at the way Tark did it. Mostly, it is hard for me to rationalize the recruiting job subpar coaches like he and Scott Drew do without some booster assistance. Maybe they are just great people.

I think Vaughn will come to ISU due to the timing of him announcing he is making his decision this weekend. Maybe the OSU game was what finally set him on ISU? But he could very well still go to UNLV. I've said it already but I'll say it again, if he goes to UNLV it is because of some personal connection that he has to the coaches or school that ISU had no chance at competing against anyways. There is no other rational reason for him to pick UNLV. He wants to make the tournament and increase his draft stock. With the dumpster fire of a season UNLV has had, will UNLV make the tournament next year even if they land him? ISU has looked impressive every time he has visited and Hoiberg's system will make him a star and give him the flexibility to run his own style of play. If we don't get him we will still be a great team but if we land him expect that deep tournament run talks again.
