A situation where it was best for both parties to move on. Looks like he's making the most of this opportunity.

Rasir didnt buy into the culture Coach Otz wanted, simple as that. I thinks its awesome he is having success out West though.

Rasir was only focused on “getting his” while playing at Iowa State which is why he was asked not to come back. I’m happy to see Mark Few has made him into a team player.

Lets chill on the “he was a bad teammate” comments. He was the only one last year that would try getting teammates up when they were on the ground and was seen multiple time on camera getting on younger guys for not knowing to help a teammate up who was literally down.

He may not have fit into TJs plans, but if his teammates didn’t like him, it’s because he (rightfully so) was embarrassed of the culture and selfish play of his teammates last year and called a spade a spade. And there is no one on this years roster but Jackson (hardly plays) and Walker (hardly plays) who can speak to his ability to be a teammate.

We probably wouldn’t have gotten Brockington if either Bolton or JCL had stayed. That should make anyone with a brain fine with them moving on.
I thought Kalscheur took Bolton's spot. Announced after Bolton transfer portal that we were recruiting him and commit shortly after. Probably swing for fences still for guy like IB if Bolton stays. Guessing game tho...

I think I saw Conditt post something supportive when Rasir made that long buzzer beater earlier this year.

So why didn't he fit TJ's plans?

Pick one - Bolton for a year or two or Tyrese hunter for 3-4 yrs. One starting point guard reaffirmed his commitment (apr10) shortly after the other starting point guard entered the portal (apr6)
