I don't understand how people can even like him. He is probably the worst guy in the league....can you imagine killing someone, sending your friends to prison for it, and then acting like such a saint? Ray Lewis is a complete joke and a terrible, terrible person.

I've never forgotten or forgiven him for the murder. At worst, he killed someone. At best, he obstructed justice.

Don't like Ray but when I've talked to KO he's sounded more inspired than I've ever seen him. Wish him the best

Count me as on the Anti-Ray Lewis bandwagon.

What was he doing after the game on Saturday? His best Mike Tyson impression?

I will cheer on KO, but I wish that Lewis would miss tackle after tackle and look like a fool. I could get behind Baltimore as a team if it weren't for Ray Lewis.

How did Ray get out of the murder charges? Did he spend any time in jail. I can't remember.

He was never tried for murder. He plead out for an obstruction of justice charge (which is a misdemeanor) in return for testifying against the two other members of his posse, which he did. Both were, however, acquitted of all charges and I believe it wasn't even close. The prosecution had a terrible case and was extremely sloppy.

Just don't cross him or else he'll have two of his posse stab you to death. Otherwise, yeah, he's a stand up fellow.

Glad to hear there are others who aren't slobbering all over a freaking murderer.

I KNOW! It takes so much of the positive energy away from Roethlesberger, and the guys who keep killing people drunk driving, and Favre and his artistic tweeting adventures...

Not saying idol-worship is bad, just hoping people look at their "idol" in full light.

I hope the Pats blow them out and he limps off the file crying at halftime. Scotty is the only thug I support.

I have to decide between Ray Lewis and Tom Brady next weekend.

Who do I root for?

I think I will just root for the NFC.

I saw this comment in that article posted about Ray Lewis earlier in this thread. Not quoted but a paraphrase.

Casey Anthony and Ray Lewis were both convicted for very similar charges. Pretty amazing how differently the nation views one versus the other.

I know the cases were way different scenario's but thought it was an interesting comeback to those who say Ray did nothing wrong and was never convicted of murder.

Than there was this comment that I thought was funny.

His final stats: 6 kids with 4 women, 2 dead bodies, 1 conviction related to the murder, 2 out of court settlements and 1 missing blood stained white suit.

OP has been watching the media propaganda machine a little too much. Maybe he's just too young to remember the Ray Lewis murders.

I'm pretty sure the media only treats Ray kindly because they are worried that he will murder them if they don't...

It's amazing what the PR machines of the NFL, Ravens, and ESPN have done to this guys image. There are people who were convicted of less than him or nothing at all that are considered cancers to their sport in the public eye.

I for one will be very happy to not have to see that stupid dance of his ever again.

One thing that was brought up in an article I read was that Ray Lewis is a lock for Canton in 5 years. The two men that were murdered are buried only 20 miles away from Canton. Will their families and friends stage a protest at his induction.
