I have only watched maybe 5 or 6 episodes so far but I can't help thinking that personality wise Re-al is the only one of the three I would want to quarterback my team.

Obviously Justin Fields is pretty darn talented.... But Re-al is much more humble and seems to handle adversity relativelywell

I hate to say it, but the way we go through QB’s, Re Al could have a pretty good chance at playing next year. Obviously I want a 4 year, healthy Purdy, but I’m just looking at our historical track record with QB’s.

That track record will be changed.

I watched some of this last year. Felt bad for Re-al, his coaches seemed to be looking for any reason to play his backup. Re-al handled it with great maturity

I'm really torn because I hope Purdy can be the QB here for 4 years but I also really want to see Re al be the same thing.

Does anyone know anything about Re al arm strength? Better or worse than Brock

Just on the second episode-how can you beat the free publicity of Re-al and his mom rocking the Cyclone swag. He's a very grounded young man-reminds me in some ways of Lazard.

And the first game they show Fields play-holy cow is that guy a freak. Any chance tOSU plays iowa in the next four years? They have so much success playing mobile QBs

I have the same feeling. Yet I have been thinking, we red shirtted Re-al this year I am sure, so he has an extra year on Brock, I would like to see us utilize him moving forward as a wildcat or second look type QB to keep the other team guessing, possibly.

Also as long as we can keep Re-Al here and if Brock continues to put the numbers up, there is a good chance that Brock leaves after his Junior year, that gives Re-Al two full years to start and kill it. That is my hope.

I agree but his backup is the best QB in the class next year. It’s not like they were replacing him with a scrub because they didn’t like Re-al

Just caught up on Re-Al's season. It really felt like the Bosco coaching staff was trying to find any excuse to pull Re-Al. Calling a bunch of slow-developing plays with a ****** O-line, then getting pissed at Re-Al for not having time to make reads or find the right read. Criticizing him for running too much. Then DJ comes in, and they run two straight screens (one WR, one RB) for a TD, and coach says "we finally have a QB!". They wanted DJ in the whole time, and it did feel like they did Re'Al dirty.

Every single cadence I found myself fascinated at how deep Re-Al's voice was. Perhaps he will be able to draw a few more defenders offsides?

That's the impression I'm getting about four or five episodes in. It kind of feels like he was set up to fail there. Either way, I'm glad he's at ISU now. Can't have too many elite athletes.
